Kick-off to Tour Auto 2018 attracts 10,000 visitors
Earlier this week, 10,000 visitors came to witness the start of the 27th Tour Auto. The Grand Palais once again provided majestic surroundings for participants to present their cars. The popular classic car rally re-enacts the historic Tour Auto with the cars from original era – 1951 to 1980 to be exact.
One thing that makes Tour Auto special is the inclusion of several racetrack stages. On the first rally day yesterday, for example, participants stopped at the Dijon Prenois circuit, where drivers put their race cars to the test before heading out for the final stop of the day in Besancon.
